AppMaven’s Favorite iPad Apps – TripIt Travel Organizer and Packing Pro
In preparation for the 22nd APMP International Conference in Denver, CO (May 31-June 3, 2011), I’ve added a couple of terrific travel apps to my iPad—TripIt Travel Organizer for iPad by TripIt (free app vs. the Pro subscription) and Packing Pro by Quinn Genzel ($2.99).
After setting up my user account, TripIt let me forward my Expedia airline confirmations and Sheraton hotel confirmation emails to my account at plans@tripit.com. TripIt then consolidated all my conference arrangements into one “trip” so I can now see every…
AppMaven’s Favorite iPad Apps – AutoPainter HD
I added a nice app to my iPad 2 this weekend – AutoPainter HD by Mediachance. Upload a photo, and it creates a “painting” of your photo using the photo as “guidance.” Right now it can do Aquarell style along with paintings inspired by Benson, Cezanne, and Van Gogh. It’s fun to watch the painting being created, and I can see using the “paintings” as screen savers, note cards, collage materials…
