Served as Deputy Administrator and Acting Administrator for NASA overseeing all agency operations and as Associate Administrator for Space Flight overseeing human space flight, the Space Shuttle, and the International Space Station. As Associate Administrator for Safety and Mission Assurance, oversaw 60 shuttle flights without mishap. Served as Space Shuttle Commander on two flights and crew member on a third. Graduate of the Air Force Academy. Holds a master's degree in Information Systems from George Washington University. Active Top Secret clearance. Brenda Crist, PPM.APMP, Managing Director, Strategic Solutions Proposal and Capture Management and Technical Writing. Serves as a senior capture and proposal manager and develops strategic solutions for clients. Focuses on helping clients work with their staffs and partners to create winning, well-written proposal solutions. Brings clients hands-on experience from leading and conducting systems and network management projects for many civilian and military clients. Stays current with the latest procurements, their requirements, and industry best practices, and uses this knowledge to maintain Lohfeld Consulting Group's corporate knowledge base. Serves as Professional Day Chairperson for the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP), National Capital Area (NCA) Chapter. Pat Brosey, Principal Consultant Capture and Proposal Management, Technical Writing. More than 20 years’ experience managing, writing, and producing winning proposals to government agencies. Provides leadership across entire proposal development life cycle serving as proposal manager, capture manager, volume lead, technical writer, and red team lead. Has comprehensive, large-scale defense C4ISR engineering program experience as a business developer, certified system architect, chief engineer, system integration lead, and software engineer. Skilled in program management techniques including earned value management system (EVMS), scheduling, costing, and risk management. Led Software Engineering Institute Capability Maturity Models (SEI CMMI) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9000 compliance and assessment activities. An excellent, experienced proposal manager specializing in managing responses to large government procurements as well as task order proposals. Served as Proposal Center Director for Lockheed Martin and before that for 12 years' as Proposal Center Director for Management Systems Designers, Inc. (MSD) (acquired by Lockheed Martin). Prior to joining Lohfeld Consulting Group, she spent more than 8 years within CSC’s Defense Group in various roles, including establishing and running two Proposal Operations teams—at the Division and Group levels—within the organization.
