Lohfeld Consulting Group announces changes to senior leadership team

Bob Lohfeld Sr., the firm’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), announced that Beth Wingate has been promoted to President and will provide day-to-day leadership of the firm. Bob Lohfeld will continue to serve as CEO.

“It is with great confidence that we are promoting Beth to President of the firm,” said Bob Lohfeld. “She’s been a significant catalyst and contributor to our success over the years, and I am extremely confident she will continue to guide Lohfeld Consulting and further establish the firm as the leader in the capture and proposal services market. Her promotion to President is well deserved and recognizes her commitment and dedication to the firm.”

Beth Wingate is a 9-year veteran of Lohfeld Consulting and has more than 25 years of proposal development, management, and corporate communications experience. Prior to joining the firm, she served as proposal center director for Lockheed Martin and for Management Systems Designers, Inc. She has also held several leadership positions with the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP), including serving as the association’s CEO in 2014. She was inducted as an APMP Fellow in June 2010. Wingate is a graduate of The College of William and Mary.

“We are putting in place a management team that can guide the company as it expands as a multinational player in the global proposal consulting services market.” Along with Beth Wingate, the following additional promotions were announced:

  • Amy Barden, promoted to Chief Operating Officer – Amy Barden has been with the company for 10 years and has served in a variety of roles, including Director of Communications and Proposals and Director of Quality Assurance. Prior to joining Lohfeld Consulting, Barden held positions at The White House, Smithsonian Institution, and several associations and non-profits.

 

  • Brenda Crist, promoted to Vice President – Brenda Crist has been with Lohfeld Consulting for nearly 9 years and has more than 25 years of experience providing capture, proposal, and program management support. In addition to her duties with Lohfeld Consulting, she has held several leadership positions with the APMP National Capital Area Chapter, including serving as the 2010 President. She was inducted as anAPMP Fellow in June 2011 and also received the Steven S. Myers Award for 2011 APMP Chapter Chair of the Year.

 

  • Lisa Pafe, promoted to Vice President – Lisa Pafe has been with Lohfeld Consulting for nearly 6 years and has more than 25 years of experience in business development, capture and proposal management, process improvement, and training. Prior to joining Lohfeld Consulting, she was Vice President at Ace Info Solutions. Before that, she was President of Vision Consulting and held senior positions with GovConnect and MAXIMUS. Lisa is an APMP Fellow and 2016/2017 President of the APMP National Capital Area Chapter.
